Lots of laneways

Google maps is your friend.

Today's obligatory best landscape is, disturbingly, produced on the phone:

Selfies

Lazy day yesterday... so enjoy these pics from Musée des Beaux Arts last week, where they had an exhibition on Autoportraits... yes... selfies ... by real artists :)

Saturday in Antibes

Markets are on every day from 7am

Apparently that sign actually means "the wine is from Corsica"... good to clear that up.

The fruit is ridiculously sweet and juicy:

And, here are the obligatory scènes photographiques: Enjoy!

Trained to Antibes today.

Antibes has an interesting "old town".  There's an exposition around:

A nearby beach, at 9.20pm tonight! It's alright.

I'm in a little flat above the Restaurant Nacional (ie behind the tree on right):

And here's a cool map of the old town ('Le Vieil Antibes'), from a wall, under the city wall.

Today was "Fête de la musique" in Lyon.  The 4 "picks" for me were these trance, french reggae, grunge and punk bands:

Really enjoyed this lot; outstanding sound quality.

Obligatory scenic shot featuring the Trance guy:

Mr and Mrs Webb

Very kind hosts, considering it's UK Father's Day and their 17th wedding anniversary.

And a pic of those Cliffs

James and I did quite a lot of walking this day...

Looking back towards Dover Castle, from a nearby hill.

Dover Castle and the cliffs...

Front door to England... for close to 2000 years...

The seagulls are quite large.
