York

A few pics are the York Minster and 'local scenes'. The last few are from the Holy Trinity Church, "the only monastic building in York to survive as a regular place of worship".
It's all a bit overwhelming.

  1. Love your photos and comments Rob- and on journiapp.

it is an impressive building. it makes me thing that Churches in Europe seem to hold a very different place in the social fabric and physical layout of towns and cities than in Australia. monuments to conviction, though sometimes in their lavishness i feel that the conviction is slightly misdirected.
